Responsible for lease abstraction and lease administration activities
Experience and Qualification:
Two- Three-year experience in lease abstraction and administration activities in US, UK, Australian or Canadian leases. (US preferred).
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Abstract Office, Retail, Residential and equipment leases into preset excel/word templates or in a leasing software used by our clients
Complete lease abstraction related process documents such as process check-lists, process manuals, summary notes etc
Exposure to different lease abstraction platforms and also to meet the deadlines of the assigned tasks
Perform lease administration activities such as rent receipting, move-ins, and moveouts
Update CAM schedules and support in CAM reconciliations activities
Simple Accounting activities such as bank and credit card reconciliations (secondary responsibilities)
Technical Skill Requirements:
Strong abstraction skill including familiarity with rent schedules, CAM schedules, insurance, real estate taxes and other recoveries
Familiarity with key lease clauses such as holdover, assignment etc.
Work in a time-bound, efficient manner while maintaining high accuracy levels
High Attention to Detail and ability to work consistently as per instructions
Strong English Reading skills with good ability to read legal language in lease
Should have good Written Communication Skills- should be able to write well drafted emails as majority of our communication is on emails
Well Versed in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
Should be able to learn quickly and willingness to work hard (Must)
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential:
Two- Three-year experience in lease abstraction and administration activities in US, UK, Australian or Canadian leases. (US preferred). Those with lower experience can also apply and will be considered on a case-to-case basis
Overall work experience can range from two-six years
Lease abstraction experience can be as freelancer/part-time or full-time working in companies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Preferred). Graduates in another stream can also apply
